WWweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Some of you have been asking how my wakeboarding's going...and actually, if I do say so myself, it's going really quite well!

It's not going so well for my mate Karen though...she's managed to do her knee in and is now off work for 3 weeks. Knowing how accident prone I am, I think that might be my cue to bow out gracefully...and this way I don't have to admit that I'm a wuss and can't take the heat anymore. Excellent thinking Steff, well done me.

How much did you pay the stunt-girl as your professional stand-in!!!!...She's very realistic!

Hi Steff,

Saw you sitting at the newsdesk on Al Jazeera today, chatting with that New Zealand news anchor guy. You know the one... smooth, sharp, good looking, walks with a limp.

Anyway, lucky you getting extra airtime, and with him too!

But how did you get to your weather position so quickly... one quick Qatar Airways graphic and you were up from the desk and telling us about the weather in the US (and with no mention of the duststorm!)

Weird, huh?

Anyway keep up the good work :)

Hmmm....Mr Angry Eyes you can't have met that Kiwi Anchor. He's a nutcase - his favourite band is Five!

As for getting from the news desk to the weather position - remember I'm now super-fit after all that wakeboarding! Talking of which, what are you up to tomorrow? Fancy being dragged along face-down behind a boat?

Ahh but you forget - YOUR favourite band is also Five!

And for the record, it's spelt 5ive.

Will pass on the face-down dragging... have prior committments I'm afraid with the lovely folks at the Customs Department.

Don't ask.

x

It's when you book a wakeboarding slot for the customs guys that I'll start to worry.

and 5ive?
Never heard of them...

Yes you have...

They make you feel alright.
They make you get down (after everybody's got up).

And as you well know, all the bees and birds are flying (ahhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh)

Which is far more civilised than what I've HEARD the bees and birds get up to!
